In all the trials and difficulties of life, and there are many and they are varied, there is a hope. There is a message for those who have lost hope and who are gripped by a sense of despair. Hope has a name and that name is JESUS. Whatever you are going through, in your darkest despair, there is a man who himself went down into the darkest pit, even hell itself, and was raised to new life by the power of God. I have discovered that He knows and understands.
Your cry for help is heard loud and clear.
His heart's intent is to reach out to you and give you hope.
Hope for a new day and a new beginning.
You may have felt that you won't ever feel better or feel hopeful for your future, but you would be wrong for Jesus can give the hope that is missing from your troubled mind and heart.
The words by Stuart Townend speaks of this hope There is a hope that burns within my heart,
That gives me strength for every passing day;
A glimpse of glory now revealed in meager part,
Yet drives all doubt away: I stand in Christ, with sins forgiven;
And Christ in me, the hope of heaven!
My highest calling and my deepest joy,
To make His will my home. There is a hope that lifts my weary head,
A consolation strong against despair,
That when the world has plunged me in its deepest pit,
I find the Saviour there! Through present sufferings, future’s fear,
He whispers ‘courage’ in my ear.
For I am safe in everlasting arms,
And they will lead me home. There is a hope that stands the test of time,
That lifts my eyes beyond the beckoning grave,
To see the matchless beauty of a day divine
When I behold His face! When sufferings cease and sorrows die,
And every longing satisfied.
Then joy unspeakable will flood my soul,
For I am truly home.
